Parken Tanzania

Gombe Stream National Park is Tanzania's smallest Park which consists of 52 sq. km.
The park has 13 steep ravines, worn out by the rivers in the course of years. The park has been especially known for its high numbers of different types of monkeys. In 1960 the British research worker Jane Goodall did a study on wild chimpanzees. There are approximately 150 chimpanzees in the park, but you can also find red colobus, black and white colobus monkeys and blue monkeys. You can also observe elephants, giraffe, zebras, hartebeest, lions, Hippopotamuses, Thomson gazelles, impalas, hyenas and ostriches in this park. After a day of walking you can take a refreshing dive in the crystal-clear water of the Tanganyika Lake. This is the largest and deepest Lake in the world with 250 different types of fish.
